I got a refund!

Well, it certainly sounds more optimistic than it is because AU didn't do a thing for me. I guess they kind of did in not answering phones and not responding to emails.

Anyway, I sent a huge envelope to my credit card company, explaining everything in detail. I stressed that they were ignoring my attempts to communicate with them and that I had not received the product, as well as their promise to refund in 1-3 days.

My credit card company gave me a $20 permanent credit and a $79.99 conditional credit. They just went to AU's bank account and removed the money. Ha!

AU has 2.5 months to contest and try to take the money back, and then the money is mine for good. Seeing AU's way of dealing with their money situations, maybe they'll ignore me one more time and let me keep my money.

Hope this gives some fragment of hope that credit card companies will come through.
