Inept Until the End

Hello-
In a non-surprise move AU has done it again. Not only do they still owe me $230 for my two overcharges (I know I know sound the violins)...but they have decided to ship to my billing address instead of the location I requested them to ship to...my set will be arriving at my parent's house in another state, and they will then have to reship it to me (unless I do the redirect via UPS- at this point I would rather the set be in the able hands of people I trust). Additionally...when I first ordered the set I specifically asked how the DVDs would ship to avoid a delivery problem...I was told it would be via the United States Postal Service not UPS...hey AU you lost an S there... as a working guy-in my experience- I have found it difficult to obtain a package from UPS being that they didn't just leave it at my door (I should be thankful for this right?), whereas the postman has left things in the foyer of my apt building. So now I will have to trouble my family with shipping the set to me and pay for shipping twice...AU whatever happened to free shipping you promised? oh another bill yet to be repaid. Geez, I loathe this company. Oh yeah I got two tracking # e-mails but both had the same information...I wonder what sort of AU issue this indicates.

Not to mention that UPS constantly loses and damages packages, or, in some cases, sends them to the other end of the world.

It could be worse; they could have used media mail.

USPS is no better than UPS. I've actually never had a problem with UPS. I like that they have tracking numbers as well. USPS has lost 2 packages of mine this year within 3 months. I think that is pretty pathetic. One was sent Priority and one just regular USPS shipping but had a shipping confirmation number(doesn't track it, just shows it has shipped).

AU used FedEx to send me something before. I'd have to say FedEx would be the best.

I do agree Media Mail sucks, though.

Seems unlikely. Looks like a bunch of stupid 12 year olds posting over there. They don't seem to know ANYTHING about the situation, or much of anything else.

They screwed me over that way too. And I'm not so lucky that my billing address is my parents house. My billing address is where I used to live, and UPS won't redirect it before they try delivering it. So now I have to worry about some guy I don't know keeping my package just because it was delivered to him.
