Every time I think think there is NO WAY LEFT for Another Universe
to make matters worse, they somehow find yet another way to add more
f-ups to the mix.

I can just see their respose:
"But our records indicated that you wanted us to un-cancel
your order, which we already had in Mike's system as "Credit noted,"
so we had to charge you again, even though our actually sending out the
credit from the double charges and cancellations hasn't happened yet.

Don't worry, will fix this immediately."

and then you'll wait and wait and wait.....

So much for "fixing the cause of the double charges."
This just keeps getting better and better.
Not only do we have to contend with getting our money back from cancellations, but now we have to worry about getting double/triple charged (again) and receiving our money back for that too. Is Ross really so arrogant that he believes he can get away with such fraud?

I think as soon as I get my refund, I'll call my credit card company to report my card as stolen. Then I can get a new card and not constantly feel apprehensive about AU continuing to use me as a bank.
If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.

If you to cancel your card now, cnosider this: If you cancel your card, then AU cannot refund you through that card. SO if you want to get your money back, you can either give them your new card or have them send you a check which would probably bounce.

Authorize.net has given Ross a license to steal, so there's really nothing you can do but bend over and take it.

Jason, I think now would be a good time to give out Ross's cell phone and home phone numbers.

I won't respond to this by harrassing Ross. It would be plain wrong to post his personal contact info (beyond email). However, I will mass mail all people who elected to cancel on the Drygrass site and have them check their credit card statements.

That's why I stated I would wait until I received my refund before I cancel the card. Hell will freeze over and pigs will fly before I would give AU another credit card # or accept a check from them.

Good news for one person here. Customer had checked again and realized the card had been refunded, not charged again. However, I still have 2 other reports of new charges.

You all don't have to go to the trouble of cancelling your card. Just tell your CC company to put a block on your account, so that no more charges can come from AU/comic store....problem solved.

I did that back when I disputed my charges back in July.

For those that haven't been double charged.....yet......call your CC company and put in the block...that way they can't get you.

If you're waiting on a credit, just tell the CC company you want to block any more charges, credits are fine....that is if they won't dispute the charges for you.

Well, MY credit card co. says they can't do a block, I guess thats a little too high tech for them.

They DID say I can CANCEL the acct. That way a charge won't go through, but credits and payments do.

I think thats a little drastic right now, but an option if your CC co can't do a merchant block.

I was going to call and cancel today.

but now I think it's not worth it to do so. they are holding onto my order only because I do not trust them to actually cancel my order, which is sad and a shameful way to do business. I'm a smart cookie, though, and I know that the money is gone, only once now, for good. I still have some slim hopes that I will see product from ross, so my money, spent eight months ago, actually bought me something. if I cancel, I stand a good chance of being charged rather than credited, and likely won't get any product out of it.

my thought is that I may as well get *something* for my money rather than *nothing* for twice as much.

I hate everything about this situation. I just want my damn DVDs, and I want to be able to watch them without hating myself for where I bought them from.
