When Jason and I were at AIX Media in June they had received info from BMG about authoring the discs.

I believe the holdup was on AU to pay, but once Ventura entered into the picture BMG knew they had a retailer for the sets and started production.

So the real hero here is Ventura plus all the downstream retailers... without them, we might have been looking at a shipping date of never.

But then why didn't you let us know sooner that they weren't paid for? You acted like everything was fine, other than the delays. When you wrote of your marathon viewing of the check discs(which we all loved) you made no mention of the fact that the discs weren't paid for yet. It only was after you broke from them that we got to know what was really going on.

If we knew then what was going on and that they weren't paid over the summer, maybe a lot of people would have cancelled earlier and something could have been done. We could have pressured them with deadlines and the sort of thing that happened last week. But we were all kept in the dark about it. I'm sure they even got more orders over this time period too.

Because I could not fathom that the payment would take so long, and on numerous occasions I was told it was sent out.

Why not pay for something when you have collected the money up front? I just didn't know why they wouldn't do this.
