Double billingDouble billingI just wanted to let everyone know my experience with double billing. I was billed $20 in February and the remainder of the preorder price of $79.98 in March. Then, I received a $115 charge in July. The charges were on my AMEX card and as soon as I got the bill, I called Another Universe and they agreed that I had been double billed and they would remove the charge. I also immediately called AMEX to report the double billing. The charge was removed, pending investigation. I received a letter a few weeks ago letting me know that the matter was still under investigation as Another Universe had not submitted the requested information to verify the charge. If you have not done so, call your credit card company immediately to report a double billing. Many companies have time limits on how long you can wait before disputing a charge. If you wait too late, you will have to depend on the company that overbilled you to give you the credit. Hope this all works out in the end and we finally get our set!
