Ah, they must be ordering through Amazon (or another etailer) and re-selling through eBay. Can't say I see the profit potential in that, but maybe they got a really good bulk rate (since some of them are the same seller.)

Re: I think we're going to see a surge in posters.

This package will include a limited edition My So-Called Life Lunchbox, a bonus DVD with over 2 hours of interviews with cast and crew and early shipping on the My So-Called Life DVD set. Of the entire package, the set of DVDs will ship earlier than the other items. Obfuscation at its best, ...

Hey Derek -- Since AU is largely relegated to comics, how about pulling in your View Askew cohort, Michael Doran, over at Newsarama? That way we could address in one spot not only the MSCL related issues, but the AU contractors and TheComicStore freelancers who have all been left in the lurch as wel...

Holy cow, Is there absolutley no low that AU will not sink to?
Well, there's the small matter of skirting the U.S. economic embargo against Yugoslavia a few years ago, but that's not something I can detail.

(You think I'm joking, don't you?)

Good call. (applause) I also have all those numbers--home and cel and such--but posting them live does more than exceed bad taste, no matter how frustrated we are; it also would put you in a legal pickle barrel.

Actually, that was back from the days before Ross turned completely to the dark side. There were (and still are) a lot of retailers unhappy with Marvel's pricing and distribution practices.

Your story strikes close to home for me. i worked for the original AU and am the author of the entire AU site. i built the current iteration back in 99 before fandom acquired AU. as m...

It's still viable in some ways, as retailers such as Best Buy and Circuit City often "brand" their own version of a product with a bonus or giveaway. I've made purchases with Best Buy on many occasions for just this reason. Exactly why I bought my Spider-Man DVD gift set from Wal-Mart. On top of al...
