Re: 20 years "My So-Called Life"

I was just watching the pilot episode this past weekend in honor of it's 20th anniversary. Seeing the pilot again, I couldn't help but to be struck by how much thought, and care went into that episode. I think I still love the show as much today, as I did when it originally aired, albeit in a differ...

Re: Your MSCL watching habits

I tend to watch an episode a week starting in late August- through late January (like how the show originally aired).

Re: Los Angeles * Summer 2012

Personally, I'd like to see the real Chase house, and the school where they filmed. Maybe find a place to watch a few of our favorite episodes with the group.

This could be a fun trip, I'll have to give it some serious consideration.

Re: For FanFiction Readers: What do you look for in a fanfic

What makes a fic "good" to you? What are your personal preferences? (For MSCL-specific fics or for fics in general) Also, this isn't meant as a judgment toward readers or writers who have different preferences than me and isn't meant as any kind of attack or criticism. These are just my own prefere...

Re: Who was Corey Halfrick really interested in?

I always thought that they would eventually have Corey and Rickki get together.

I agree with the other poster that there's something in his demeanor that suggests he is bisexual.

Kenny,

I hope your son gets better soon.

I'm still all for the MSCL gathering. I vote for LA so we can maybe have a pilgrimage to the high school, the Chase house, etc. and maybe get some of the cast/crew involved.
That would be awesome, I'd love to see the school and Chase house.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen you post, I hope your life gets to be a little less insane so we can see where you go with your story. Anyway, it's nice to see you post again.

Re: Jordon & Angela

I also really don't think Brian was trying to sabotage anyone. Jordan isn't the only one who has trouble telling Angela how he feels about her. Brian couldn't seem to muster the courage to tell her how he feels about her. The letter was his way of telling her how her feels, albeit through Jordan.

Re: Parenthood

I only saw the second to last episode last year, but I been watching it this season. The show has so many characters that it's hard to get to know who's who if you've just started watching. So the first few episodes focusing on only a few characters has helped me get into the show. So far I'm really...

Re: Why does the letter work for Jordan, but not Brian?

I would add to this though, that the letter does "work" for Jordan, as the others have said, because Angela already felt something for him. But, though the letter didn't (and realistically, of course it wouldn't have) instantly transform Angela's feelings toward Brian, I do think it made her see hi...

Re: Winnie Holzman: New TV project for ABC Family ("Huge")

I watched the show, it was fairly decent. There were some scenes that did have MSCL feel to them. I'd say it's woth checking out if you have seen it.

Re: what other characters would you have wanted to narrate?

It would have been great if the show would have lasted long enough to have all the characters do a show from their prospective.

I think a show from Jordan's prospective would have the most interesting, that's why I wrote a Life of Jordan fanfiction episode.

Re: Could Brian and Angela ever hit it off as a couple?

I completely agree that Angela feels something subconsciously for Brian, and was indeed moved by the letter. People always say that Jordan and Angela had great chemistry, but that just isn't true. The two of them could barely even hold a conversation together. On the other hand, it was her and Brian...

Re: Anyone else feel EXACTLY what a character does in school?

I think a lot of people can relate to the Brian character. I know I relate more to him any of the other character, maybe that's why Life of Brian is one of my favorite episodes. I love how we got to see into Brian's life in that episode.

HA! I'm back here again. ... God do I love Graham! Those Graham and Hallie scenes kill me. I love Patty and Graham togeher, but I'm always a big fan of Miss Hallie Lowenthal (she's not my 'worst nightmare') and the Liberty Guru, Cynthia Hargrove! It's that time again. ... And Graham. Oh G...
