based on stories and characters created by Winnie Holzman

I just put on a smile,
and do a little dance,
and entertain them all.
That's my job,
to be a fake,
to front.
I'm a clown,
letting people only see one side of me.
if only they saw my other side,
they would be surprised.
A side filled with frowns,
not smiles,
cries,
not laughs,
sorrow,
not joy.
But then,
who would pay to watch that show?
