I'm so glad I found this site! We got MSCL in the UK in 94/95 and I don't think it really became cult here so I'm pretty much alone in my love for the show! I actually ruined the videos I used to tape it off the TV in 95 from watching them too much so eventually bit the bullet and bought the DVDs a few months ago - brilliant. Each of the characters are excellent, it is really true to life, even though our schools here are pretty different to those in the US. All teenage girls want to go out and get the boy they like and no-one likes their parents between the age of 12-21 or something! Even though I'm 23 and probably too old to still be watching this since it's 11 years old, I still love it! D@mn those ignorant TV producers, they never know a good thing when it hits them in the face and they insist on showing other forms of utter trash. (in my humble opinion!)

OMFG ever since the first time i saw this show ive gotten like, you know addicted to it or something and i made my sister buy me the my so called life complete serious from ebay for christmas.. its amazing how it actually relates to my like actual life. it seems like ive almost become obsessed with it, i mean i liek completely freak if i miss an episode one night. and also its like no matter what im doing, all i want to talk about is this show and its like phrases and how like angela and brian talk just get hammered into my head and just keep playing over and over in my head. and the ideas they make the show out of, i mean they are so over welming sometimes and so sad i wanna cry sometimes.. like the christmas episode. well im writing too much, and you get the point. oh...my...GOD! i LOVE LOVE LOVE my so-called life! it is truly amazing how i can relate to something like this. none of the teen shows today can compare to this one. i'm 14, myself, and even though its based around a 15-year-old group, i can still relate to how they feel and such. I really think Rickie is great and i feel so bad for the way he is treated just because he is gay. Royanne,Angela,Jordan,Brian,Sharon....they're all fantastic!

To automatically assume that Kevin Williamson "stole" the plotlines of the show form Dawson's Creek is pretty dumb. Why would a thirty something year old guy watch the show in the first place? Come to think about it hardly anyone did, and that's why it was canceled...

I am literally getting goosebumps reading all of the wonderful things people are saying about the one T.V. show that made a difference to me. It was brilliantly written, wonderfully acted and will remain the #1 TV show (of all time) to me forever. I finally have every episode (albeit on VHS) and watch them constantly even at my current age of 31! I know that I will forever relate to each and every emotion that Angela Chase has ever felt because they were so real. The show was so real. That's the beauty of it. It IS the *BEST* television series in the history of TV and I say that with complete confidence and certainty. Thank God for MSCL!!!!!!!

MSCL is a precious,frozen moments in time show. I watch it every week night from 11:15 - 12 midnight. The form of writing is thought provoking. Hearing the internal dialogue that goes on in Claire Danes characters head I can relate to. In my opinion we need this type of writing back into shows.
