I once overheard two men talking about Bill Gates' wealth, after it had fallen from 80 billion dollars to a mere 50 billion dollars. One man mentioned that 30 billion dollars was an awfully big loss. The other man agreed, but figured that 50 billion was still far more than Bill could ever possibly need: "It's not like he's ever going to withdraw it all. What, would he just walk into a bank and say, 'Yeah, I'd like that in fives.'"
