Fantasy Dinner Guests

Post by Debs » Feb 9th 2003, 4:34 pm

Just as the subject title suggests but in two parts.

a) If you could hold a dinner party for six guests - living or dead - (if dead, preferably hold the party while chosen guest is still living) who would you choose?

I'll go first!

1. Cameron Crowe
2. Susan Sarandon
3. Steven Tyler
4. Johnny Depp
5. Billy Connolly
6. Tracy Chapman

b) If you could spend the weekend with any one of your chosen dinner guests, who would you choose?

Hard question. Hmmm... Part of me would *really* like to spend the weekend with Steven Tyler (rrraw!) but overall, getting into a lengthy conversation with Mr. Cameron Crowe would really do it for me.

Your turn!
Mom. Streamers?

The Dinner Game

Post by ClarenceWorley » Feb 10th 2003, 6:37 am

Ohh, it's a tough one.
  • Jesus Christ
    Martin Scorsese
    Brent Spiner
    Jodie Foster
    Shirley Manson
Mark Oliver Everett (E from the Eels)
Weekend: Shirley Shirley Shirley!

...I was going to make a joke about Jesus turning up with only a bottle of water, but I decided against it.

Jesus Christ
Ghandi
JFK
Maya Angelou
Sally Ride
Madonna

It is a tough choice to pick one for an entire weekend... all would be great for different reasons... Probably Maya Angelou.

1. Patton (Duh...)
2. Oliver North
3. JFK
4. Theodore Roosevelt
5. Donald Rumsfeld
6. Richard Marcinkco
7. James Madison

I'd love to see what would come from the dinner discussions on such things as Homeland Defense, Dealing with Extremist Islam, N. Korea and Iraq, The Economy, and The Future of US Foreign Relations and the U.N.

Good question! I think I might be so intimidated by these people I wouldn't be abel to speak.

The guests:

Cameron Crowe ('cause he rocks!)
Stevie Nicks ('cause she rocks hard!)
Claire Daines (sans Ben)
Liv Tyler (in case Claire is too upset about not being with Ben)
Carson McCullers (how did she write The Heart is a Lonely Hunter at 23?)
Shelby Foote (a good old Southern gentleman, like me)

As for spending the weekend with one of them.........You mean choose between Liv and Claire? I couldn't have both?

Patty: If Rayanne's not seeing you, and we're not seeing you, who is seeing you?
Graham: And how much of you?
Angela: Dad!
Graham: Oh, I'm sorry! I asked a question about your life, didn't I? Woah, what came over me?
