Too Hot Or Not + Subliminal Messages

Hey People...
I was just watching this show 'MuchMusic Talks' (MuchMusic = Music TV station in Canada), a show where a bunch of people sit around and discuss sex in music videos, and the whole 'Too Hot Or Not' thing.
Anyway, the main point of discussion was Christina Aguilera's 'Dirrty'. Apparently, this media literacy class watched the video in slow-mo, and within the first 30 frames the words 'Eat Lick Live P*ssy' were flashed on the screen, among other things. They contacted Much about this, and because of that Much is now airing a 'cleaner' version of 'Dirrty'.
So basically I'm just wondering if any of you know anything about 'subliminal messages' in advertising and whatnot. I've tried to find some info on the web and I'm at a loss. Any resources on this would be greatly appreciated. I'd also be interested in your thoughts on the 'Too Hot or Not' subject, if you have any.

I've only seen the video a few times, but I did hear that the video was banned in Thailand because some of the posters in the background advertise Thailand's sex industry and "young underage girls." The Thai government felt this was an offensive stereotype of their country.

See I knew once I heard the girl from 4 non Blondes was writing a lot of her songs on the album that she was just trying to get into Cristina's barely legal pants.
