amazon or bestbuy?
amazon or bestbuy?I didn't get into the whole AU thing. But I do want to buy the DVD's. So I looked at amazon.com and bestbuy.com. But see, I've never preordered something before. And I guess maybe I'm sort of intimidated because of everything that you've all been through with AU. So should I take the chance? I know the show is worth it, no doubt. What do you all think?
In dreams begin responsibilities.
First of all, preordering from a known trustworthy company is really no different from ordering something that is available from a known trustworthy company - you WILL receive your merchandise. That said, go with who you feel comfortable with. I have ordered stuff from amazon in the past and had no problems at all. I have also bought stuff at best buy (at the actual location, not online) and was satisfied with the merchandise, if not the customer service (you would think that when there are literally a hundred employees walking around the floor, ONE might be able to stop and help a customer find something). In BB's defense, I will say that if you know what you want and you can find it on your own, no problems there.
Even though you CAN still preorder, at this point I would go with Howard's recommendation - wait until next week and then just go to a store and buy it. No nailbiting while you wait for the UPS man.
