Nobody from AU logged into DryGrass.com this week.

Post by Jason R » Nov 8th 2002, 6:17 pm

No double bill refunds
No cancellation refunds
No address corrections

No nothing.

Nobody picked up their phones all week.

Can everyone do me a favor? If you received an email from AU this week, please email it to me at jasonr@mscl.com or just paste it into this thread. Maybe we can to piece together some of the facts.

From Ross on 11/05/02 - Reply to my un-cancel request :

I'll check on this tomorrow and let you know. I don't think it'll be a
problem.

====

From Mike on 11/07/02 - Reply to another email I sent to Ross after 11/05 looking for a response:

Jessica,
I have uncancelled your order and it looks like you will be at the head of
Wave 2 which is hitting on or about Nov 13th.

Respectfully
Mike

====

From Mike on 11/08/02 - Reply to an email that was sent to Ross before the one replied to above:

Your order is uncancelled and you are scheduled to go out in wave 2 on or
about the 15th of Nov.

Respectfully
Mike

Probably not what you're looking for since this was about problems submitted to DryGrass, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

I don't think they reply to emails about cancellations because I was getting Ross about that for a few weeks until I decided to uncancel. I got one email from him saying he would have it credited the following week and then no replies to anything I sent after that and I never saw a credit either.
+it can't be all that hard if you can sum it up in a postcard.

Unrelated to this thread but...

Jason, can you please tell us what the "good news for customers" but bad news for AU is - in regards to the email you were sent from someone at AU that you hinted at in the 'Ross's Number' thread?? I just looked that over after two days and I don't see any news. I was hoping for more information - is AU being legally investigated, sued, jailed, can we expect any money back, are they bankrupt, DO TELL - PLEASE!!

Thank you.

Here's what I've gotten this week:

Emailed Ross on 11/5 7:21 CST asking for status update on my set.

Ross forwarded the email to Mike on 11/6 09:21 AM (not sure if it's CST Or PST) (quoted in reply from mike below)

received shipping email from dvdsupport 11/6 09:39 AM giving me a tracking number.

Reply from Mike 11/6 12:38 PM CST saying that my order had shipped and gave me a tracking number.

Edit: btw, UPS says I should get my set 11/11

I am out of town, but right before I left (Thursday) I got an email from Mike which I cant post because I dont have access to it right now. It was a generic response that I have seen posted around the board somewhere. It said something about my email being passed on to the accounting department and that I can "feel free" to take any other steps outside of AU that I want. Obviously I am paraphrasing but I know someone else has posted the exact message around here. I have been emailing Ross every day, and finally I cc'd Leslie and Mike and that is the only response I have recieved.

This is the series of e-mails I've gotten trying to get a credit after cancelling my order. Unfortunately no credit yet and my credit card company isn't being very helpful. I think it's time to go to the bank and talk to someone in person.

Stephen
I have forwarded your info to the accounting office for review.
We are processing Refunds as fast as we can. It is important to us that
we process every customers refund and overcharge credit. With that
said, please pursure whatever means you feel is necessary to protect your best interest.
