Stressed out - ideas for de-stressing hereStressed out - ideas for de-stressing hereGo to http://www.shockwave.com and play some games.
![]() take a break from this forum and go have some fun. any other ideas? I'm sure tomorrow will be extremely stressful for all here and it would be helpful if we could find a way to de-stress. (it's the mom in me, sorry) I hope you're not too stressed. I want to thank you because I had a lot of the same concerns as you about what we can really trust, and making sure that everyone knows that all we are getting here is people talking, not definitive proofs.
Anyways, there's a lot of good games on shockwave. I really like all the Pictionary type games. zone.msn.com has a lot of good ones too. Nice timekillers.
There's always 3-D Pong, but that one also might be more stressful than reading this board!

Oooo I love minesweeper! I would play that game for HOURS - until my wrist was numb. ![]() And never underestimate a good game of solitaire to help achieve a meditative state of mind! If only there were a button somewhere that I could push. To force me to stop talking.
Here's a solitare trick: Hold down Ctrl-Shift-Alt while drawing a card. By doing this, you can go through the deck as many times as you want, one card at a time.
(On the MS version) You can also just go to Game->Options and choose to play one card at a time. But what's the fun in that? ![]() And now I've moved on from Minesweeper to "Laser Tank". http://www.jccontrols.net/laser/ so says Sparx.
If you do that, then you can go through the deck only once. With the trick I posted, you can go through the deck many times.
If you play "Vegas" style (vegas scoring in the options), then you can go through the deck only once if you draw one at a time. I've been playing that way for so long I forget you can switch it off ![]() Who is onlineUsers browsing this forum: No registered users and 17 guests |
