Just called AU

I called them (888-5-COMICS) and they answer the phone as CMI holdings, not AU. They refused to take my cancellation request claiming that all the customer support people left at 4:30pm (if everyone went home, then who answered the phone). I find it odd that a comic store would close at 4:30pm on a weekday. The one time I actually get through to them and they say they're closed.

Oh well, it looks like I'm out $100 unless I can convice my bank to do a chargeback.

I say email them your cancellation over the weekend. At least that way you have a record that you tried to contact them. Don't give up!

Besides, Ross promised that he would take care of all the cancellations and refunds, so that should make you feel a lot better.
