I laughed out loud when...I laughed out loud when...MSCL is very much a dramatic show. and many of our favorite quotes are poignant and heartfelt, mostly about the hardships of coming of age. but then I remember some of the humor of MSCL, and it just makes me smile. I'm not one that is prone to laugh out loud at books or movies, but sometimes you just can't help yourself.
one of my favorite funniest moments is between Rickie and Brian in the episode Self Esteem. they are sitting outside the school and ranting about their life. Rickie is upset because the drama teacher called him Ricardo, and Brian is mad at Angela for asking for math help. seemingly, they aren't paying a bit of attention to the other until the end. it's just a really funny sequence, and a great bonding moment for the boys. emmie
I LOVE IT! Also the scene in "Dancing in the Dark" in Brian's kitchen: (ah, the never failing power of those two words: "EXTRA CREDIT" ![]() See the "Fun Poll" I believe on of the questions asks people's favorite humorous moments.

Also, after multiple V. Mars reiterations, and finally a Deadwood movie, still wishing for some continuation of The Riches ! my 2 "laugh-out-loud" momentsFirst off Emmie, I remember that scene with Brian and Ricky talking with one another and not listening to a word of what the other person was saying. I always flash back to it when a friend and I are doing the same thing, you know venting about a boy-friend, while whomever I'm talking to is upset and yacking about work, etc.
The other most funny moment I remember was the episode when Rayanne finds Sharon's mom's hadcuffs and gets herself locked to the bed in Mr. and Mrs. Chase's room! There's Brian beside the bed with Rayanne yelling "it's too big, it won't fit" as the football team is walking down the hall after borrowing the bathroom!
My favorite part in the series is when Rayanne tells Angela that Jordan will be stopping by to give her a fake I.D. in "Dancing In The Dark". Angela says, "Well did he (Jordan) act bored or....?" and Rayanne says, "He flopped on the floor uncontrollably, okay? Rickie had to hold down his tongue...." and Rickie comes in with "...And I wasn't even there!" There's just something about the way they say it that makes me laugh every time!
![]() "He flopped on the floor uncontrollably, okay? Rickie had to hold down his tounge..."
"...And I wasn't even there!" Rickieyeah, Rickie had a good sense of humor. it's too bad that he wasn't given more opportunities to express it.

LOL. I love that scene too. ![]() There`s Something About My Life....
winter wonderlandi totally agree with 'mylifeisbrians' the "he flopped uncontrollably on the floor" scene is a lol moment. angela's burst of laughter at rayanne & rickie is so natural hehe.
*~Emerald~* "Hello, you've reached the winter of our discontent."
mine is. . . .My favorite LOL moment is the one when rickie and brian are watching the "sexual help" movie that fell out of Angela's bookbag (sharon gave it to help her out with jordan catalanto) and Brian says "My parents have a vibrator, It sounds like a lawnmower". . . I crack up EVERY TIME!
Another classic:

I think the episode I laughed at the most was "Weekend". I always laugh when Angela's trying to distract Mrs. Cherski.
Then there's also: And, of course, the already mentioned scene where Kyle sees Brain standing over Rayanne who's handcuffed to the bed. Then, Kyle turns and sees Angela, Rickie, and Danielle, in the corner, watching and eating Cracker Jacks. Funny stuff. WHO ARE YOU?!?!?I just saw "Resolutions" the other night and completely lost it when Mr. Kastimski starts yelling at Patty for letting Rickie leave. Graham comes in after Angela introduces him to Patty and has no idea who he is. So Katimski is screaming at Patty, Patty's crying, and Grham is like, "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?" The look of confusion on his face is priceless!
Who are Enrique and Ricardo?
In The Substitute when the Chases are at the dinner table and Angela says, "Finally. An adult I can look up to." And Patty and Graham just stare at her, obviously thinking, "what about us?" and Angela goes, "What?" and they, in unison, answer "Nothing." I laugh every time I see that exchange. Both the timing and delivery of the lines are perfect.
"I have all these dreams where I know exactly what to say. And you tell me, you know, that you forgive me."
Re: WHO ARE YOU?!?!?This is a great one! Graham is such a great character and Tom is such a talented comedian. Sometimes I write a little MSCL fanfiction: https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1039807/Jody-Barsch
