Umm...I'm still operating on the "hope to hell I get my dvd's because getting a refund on a check payment seems less likely than growing a tail" theory. Good luck if you try it, though.

I called AU and left a message this morning, since I've gotten no response to my emails and both my email address and mailing address have changed since my original order. I wonder how long it will take before someone responds. I'm not holding my breath

I only paid the $20 deposit via check; the balance was paid by CC. I haven't canceled, but I am still waiting for a $20 overcharge refund. How AU is handling that, if at all, I know not. I filled out the Drygrass form and e-mailed Ross, so the ball is in their court. At the moment I'm too lazy to do more over a paltry 20 bucks.

Sorry if that's not much help, but I'll post any significant developments. Likewise, I look forward to whatever you can find out, as there are probably lots of us who paid all or in part with checks. :? :)

ahhhh so you were just like me...or kind of...paid the 20 dollar deposit by check and the rest by cc...cept i didnt get charged the rest even though i gave them my credit card and asked them to charge me...phew so glad that they were irresponsible and lazy on that one!

yeah the 20 dollar deposit...since its not that much...i'm not as motivated as others to really fight for it...but i think i might call my bank and see waht i can do...i'll report anything that i find out
