Let me guess. No response about the overcharge? AAAArgh. :x

If I were you, I would call them at 888-5-COMICS and get this fixed right now.

There is still the possibility that it was processed and not showing up yet, but some kind of confirmation, esp. under the circumstances of an overcharge, is called for. The overcharge makes one lose enough confidence. Not getting it fixed promptly is an entirely different, and more harrowing situation.

ADDENDUM: I emailed Mike McCullough at AU about 40 minutes ago. I use delivery confirmation software and it shows that my email was ready about 5 minutes after I sent.

As soon as I receive some kind of response regarding recent doublecharges, I will let you know.

Jason

There I said it. All the wisdom in my whole flipping post just went out the window.

Those bastards took $115 dollars from me, right from my bank account no less, starving my children.

Jason has been great, he's doing the best for me and I so appreciate it! But those ASSES at AU can go f**k themselves.

Ross, if you are lurking around reading these posts (because you are all too chicken s**t to answer emails), why don't you guys get a freaking clue? You are so not ready to play with the big boys. Why don't you go back to the sand box. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company and I guarantee I NEVER will again.

Sorry I'm "whining" friends but I figure maybe, just maybe AU will get it in their heads out of their asses and fix all these problems. Though most likely not. GRRRRRRRR I hate it when people piss me off!!

AU, YOU SUCK!

ADDENDUM #2. I got a response. Here it is:

Jason,
As I Informed you last week in our e-mail conversation, I had credited almost 9K worth of orders directly out of our internal cash flow. My primary objective after that monster credit was to individually look at all the invoices and figure out who had been double charged and who had legitimately never been charged. There are 3700 invoices at 50-60 per hour... you can do the math.

I can't do instant credits because now we have to individually submit to authorize net to verify whether or not they are cash credits. That takes them a bit. I believe they are individually looking at every transaction we are doing to see where the cash is going and coming from.

I don't understand how you want me to respond to these people when nothing is resolved. In fact, in most of your emails you direct me only to respond when I've resolved the situation... well Nothing is resolved.

Your more than welcome to direct them to a live person at our 888 number if that will help. If there is a form response I should be sending I'll be more than happy to do that. I just don't know what to tell them.

Respectfully
Mike

This is Jason speaking again in the first person. I don't know what to say about this. This is not quite what I expected to hear. All I can say is if you emailed me about an overcharge, you would have been better off calling AU directly at 888-5-COMICS.

That's all great and dandy for AU but I dont think anyone whose debit card was overcharged really give a rat's ass about their "monster credit" problems. They have our money and we need it!

I have sent them emails... I guess I better call and scream.

That was one of my favorite lines from American Pie 2!

:D

I would like to add here that someone I work with criticized me for watching such a stupid movie and said I couldn't pay her to watch it. She's missing out!
