Not that this question has anything at all to do with the topic or MSCL, but I am just curios, grim4746, who the h**l is depicted below your nick? Is it you? (or am I just yet another imbecile norwegian...?) It's a picture of Martin Short's sketch comedy character Ed Grimly he was also a cartoon ch...

I almost had sympathy for Connor in the S4 finale but I just kept reminding myself that it was a poor attempt to retroactively justify the excessive whining we'd been subjected to since Connor arrived. Plus I was thrilled because I'd heard that he was being written out of the show. The Buffyverse ha...

Sorry to go back to the start of this topic, but I had a few thoughts on Graham and Angela. Graham says things to Angela that makes her understand Jordan (or men in general) more. Eg. in ep #2 'Dancing in the Dark' during the spaghetti scene. Even this early on, Graham lets on that he's not as clue...

Hmm...Why do I get the feeling you are not very fond of Jordan...? :D Ya you caught me, I don't think very highly of Jordan. Well when I watch the episodes I develop a soft spot for him maybe from seeing him through Angela's eyes but as time passes after viewing the charm fades and I'm left thinkin...

What about Jordan's obligations to his OWN feelings? I mean, it is pretty clear he is a LOT more into Angela than he will ever be for Rayanne. Rayanne was just available at the right time. IMHO, Jordan did not only betray Angela. More than anything he betrayed his own heart... This I totally agree ...

In a sense, I think Jordan and Angela still had some kind of relationship "at that time", at least they were somewhat "involved". I mean, it's obvious that they were still drawn to eachother. Jordan was jealous of Corey and Angela was nowhere near "over" Jordan as she claimed. Also the fact that Jo...

Interesting, I talked to my sister yesterday about the situation. She volunteered over at saveangel.com. She is extremely upset about CC situation and holds Joss responsible. She is going as far as not to watch Angel: Season 5 this fall. She also expressed concern about the change in format. Joss h...

I do think that Angela has picked up traits from both of her parents but I think most often she's taken on positive things from patty and more detrimental characteristics from graham. Angela's tendency to shut people out has already been brought up as a link to graham. I have to say that it annoys m...

Nifty! "Space, the final frontier..." That slideshow reminds me of an old astronomy question: It's generally agreed that Earth floats in the middle of the Milky Way, a spiral Galaxy. On a good night, you can see it as band of hazy light across the sky. So, if we're in the middle, (vertical...

i voted for any NE city but NY would work out as good as any for me probably and I've never been so that would be exciting. but truthfully I haven't been to most US cities. This thread is sort of old but hopefully Im not totally out of date. i would love a mini convention and might sacrifice more th...

good argument candygirl. I spent hours yesterday scanning the forum for things I care to discuss (and playing online hearts on the side) so I certainly can spare the time. I think I was experiencing a bit of computer withdrawl after the power outage. I hadn't thought of "See Jane Date" as being simi...

I'll probably check out her appearance on miss match but from what i've read See Jane Date isn't really my kind of show. I might give it a look though because I'd like to see Charisma Carpenter playing a different role. She is funny, hopefully she'll land her own sitcom. Maybe Joss has some big mast...

Thanks candygirl that is an interesting interview. I am one of 'fan(atic)s up in arms' about Cordeila's absence from Angel next season. I'm a little outraged especially after reading that article and the Joss interview posted in an earlier message. It sounds like she was canned without much notice a...

i was out of power for about 22 hours but it worked out all right for me. Work was cancelled for two days. I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow but it's a short day and they might send me home. I used the time to read in the dark (well candlelight) and because I've become so accustomed to getting a mscl ...
