“One of my employees, who is heavily into DVD has got the software to do it, and the first thing he wanted to do was, ‘Hey, can we do some original material for this and make our own DVD for it?’” Rojek says. Um...was this supposed to describe Justin? And, is this how it actually was back then, or ...

Better cash that check before you start the production line up again, Robert. ;) David, this is not a joke. I don't know how you can bounce as many checks as these guys and not go to jail. Jason, I hardly meant it as a joke. I was trying to give Robert some common-sense advice without being too pre...

"Cheap" works fine, too!

I was gonna use this as my avatar, but I can't say the quality of the result is up to my usual standards. I'll post it here for a yuk or two, though:

Cate, back on Page 3 of this thread, wrote:We paid our money up front because, as you stated, it was required from BMG.
I don't see why Jason, or anyone else, let this bit pass. BMG never said that anyone should pay up front. AU did. Period.

Okay, I won't erase that last post, but it's a whole lot less funny now that I've read the "Just who are Cate & MartinPierre???" thread. Especially since you (Cate) found the accusation of being Ross in disguise so funny. Hey, I wouldn't miss a step if I found out that Ross had gone all Sybil on us ...

Cate, why don't you look up the phone #'s for both BMG and GWhiz and make the calls yourself? Since you are healthily skeptical of the anti-AU posts made on this forum, then if we can believe anyone's posts confirming the payment situations (or lack of payment situations) with either of these vendor...

Actually, it's fairly common for bestbuy.com to carry the more obscure boxsets, and not carry them in the stores. Last week I was looking for the new Doctor Who "Key to Time" series 6-disk set, which is arguably more popular than MSCL would be, released by Warner Bros., and it was available for onl...

This morning my refund showed up in my internet statement. All of it: balance and deposit. No interest, but I'll cut my losses on the $8.48 and move on. When did you first notifiy AU that you wanna cancel your order, David ? Thursday. It was just before Jason's revelation here about BMG's situation...
