Kinda sorry to boing this to the top, but i haven't been around much in a long time. Was this short bit all that came of informing NBC? http://www.xmission.com/~idoru/thingamies/bug.gif I very carefully informed a local TV-News consumer advocate of this whole mess sometime late in 2002. I got no res...

http://www.xmission.com/~idoru/thingamies/stun.gif Crap! How big a hole (canyon) does this jerk have to dig before authorities take notice? Normally i believe in the " What goes around, comes around " bit, but this is one slippery eel we've got here. Though it may not be the biggest deal in the wor...

I was a bit surprised when i checked, and Ross hasn't grabbed up any similar domain names, that i tried anyway.

Just thought he might want to change it a bit, or funnel them all to the same place.

I have filed a complaint with FTC. I reported the past events as well as the new situation with their shop. As I see it, AU offends another time applicable law. But this time everyone can see it. Way to go! I just found out today that the shop was back up. Haven't been around lately. This stuff is ...

You can bet i examined the merchandise pretty closely. Fortunately i couldn't find a scratch on the lunchbox, although the latch is slightly wonky. I haven't had a chance to watch the DVD yet. I don't care much about the T-Shirt or "gift" certificate either. I just hate to see Ross and AU weasel out...

Re: Tyler's response!

Hmm. Got an email that this topic had been responded to. But, I'm not eating humble pie just yet. Now's a great time to start. Or if you'd rather, i've got some crow. Having thought about this, there were an awful lot of plots that were nothing to do with Angela and co and just about Patty and Graha...

And perhaps the dedication of fans of this show demonstrates how uncommon it is for hollywood to crank out a really excellent program. Audiences "starved" for something with real quality ? I certainly don't come across very many shows i consider all that great. ----- I haven't even gotten the custom...

Re: refund

I still can't imagine that intent would come into play concerning a lot Ross's shennanigans. Plus the number of things that have gone wrong will be a bit difficult for anybody to swallow as far as lack of intent. You got your refund? Did the check clear? Best, Lance Man So far nothing from the bank ...

I want the lunchbox, the DVD, and all the other bits and pieces Ross promised!

I always include a reminder of those things in my contact emails, just to be a pain, if nothing else.

(in lieu of the extras, a public flogging of Ross would suffice. Image )

The problem is one of proving intent. If there was no intent to commit fraud, then no law is broken. Being bad at running a business is not illegal, doing it on purpose is another matter. So how does that work? You can't actually just go missing dates, dragging the whole thing on forever, n...
