So, how old are we?

So, following on from the latest post in the desert island discs thread, how old are we all? I'd just like to know, average age of MSCL fans and whether this tallies with first airing etc... I think (although I'm not entirely certain) that MSCL first aired in the UK in 1995... I'm 24. :) C'mon - fes...

To limit it to just 5 (because once I get into these things it's like a flood)... Simon & Garfunkel - the complete works (technically 3 CD's but you'll be lenient with me I hope) Jewel - This Way Guns & Roses - Appetite for Destruction - Charango - Morcheeba Nevermind - Nirvana Thus, there should be...

OK, so I just figured it out... I stupidly assumed you'd be able to drag and stretch simply by holding your mouse down and pulling. So wrong.

But I got there in the end :P

Resolution or whatnot lost a bit, but hey, you can't have it all

Cheers!

Nostradamus; I tried, but I'm afraid it was all too much. My basic aim is to keep the cheerios (yeah, I think they suit me too :) ) and make it bigger. But the pictures on the Gen. Mills sites are way too big and I just don't have the know-how. I tried in paint to stretch my picture but it didn't wo...

It'd be cool - I'm around from 9.30 - 5.30ish GMT depending on how hard I can be bothered to work.

Is there a time we can have everyone on? Maybe about noon GMT, although that'd leave people in the USA getting up VERY early.

Nostradamus: cool - I didn't even know these galleries existed... I'm off to the google site now. And I LOVE Calvin & Hobbes - don't even get me started on it... first read it when aged about 11 on a visit to the USA - now, thankfully, all books are readily available over here. I'm deeply jealous of...

yeah, I thought he was British. His use of the charmingly intellectual insult 'twat' gave it away...

Oh well, I wouldn't want anyone else to be banned...

I'll just ignore him and hope he finds civility soon.

Any administrators out there?

Is there any way you can block this plonker who's insulting Jason constantly from posting? I know this is a public forum and all, but it's really upsetting to have to read one person's illogical rants of hatred.

Thanks

Hey,
From London and (I'm holding a big stick of wood very tightly here) no overcharge and no problems as yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if disaster struck. Pissed off, but not surprised.

too true, too true.

My mum used to say to me 'I hope you'll have a child just like you one day. Then you'll understand...'

Bottle it and sell it as your next project, Jason.

I was in tesco yesterday and they were selling one for £89 but I decided not to get it because I was afraid it would be crap and not play my DVDs ... glad I didn't now

Thanks, Debs :) I've just had a look on Richer Sounds and yay! there is a shop near where I work with plenty of good looking DVD players... I'll be there this week purchasing. Middle of the range is my hope - up to about £150 should get me a pretty swish player, I reckon, and I'm definitely going fo...
