I'd leave a message on AU's machine with your phone no. and/or address to have them pick it up. If they don't react in a month or two, I'd count myself lucky and sell the sucker on eBay or give it to a friend.

I would have a very, very hard time feeling like I'd do something wrong, anyway.

Oliver.

I wrote a two-page description of what happened in as much detail as I could and included printouts/copies of the following: - the CC statements showing the original $20 charge and the $79.98 secondary charge - the email from AU anouncing the June date and talking about that "authorizations can't be...

I just wanted to chime in and announce that I received my money back ($199.96 for a set for me and a friend of mine each, no overcharges) from Visa. I sent about 14 pages (two pages describing the whole story plus all the emails I could find, my IFCC complaint, and Jason's survey results from a whil...

Hmm... interesting, but why were the names deleted if this was pulled off a public newsgroup? It's just nicer not to drag those people into our little scandal here. The inclusion of names certainly isn't going to change whom I believe the fault lies with. Maybe this is just my e-ignorance, but I th...

Re: AUTHORIZENET DOUBLE BILLING PROBLEM

Now go find some postings about how AuthorizeNet stopped Ross from paying BMG, G-Whiz, and the company who filmed the Bedford Falls office stuff.

But tell me, how would you feel if you were still waiting because you really wanted the Special Limited Edition DVD Lunchbox set and you received Jason's email tomorrow morning telling you to cancel. You cancel and call your CC company etc. And then an hour or two (or whatever) later word comes thr...

Re: Credit due to AU (in spite of all the major screw ups!)

[...] a new distributer for the DVD box was found: AnotherUniverse.com, a CMI Holding company. They negotiated with BMG to make a limited edition DVD box set available to the fans. --end quote So let me get this straight - if AnotherUniverse hadn't negotiated with BMG the MSCL DVD box set would not...
