Re: Pre-Life: the Wonder Years

I finished the first season(big deal, only six episodes xD) and i'm very impressed by the quality of the show. It's not edgy and adult like MSCL but is honest and real like "My So Called Life" and that's good enough for me. Thanks god there are other 100 episodes left. I consider the ABC the best qu...

Re: Pre-Life: the Wonder Years

I saw the first two episodes and it's really good, the script and the voice over are truly great. It's not comedy, maybe a soft comedy and on the paper is not so different from MSCL. I don't understand why the people accepted so easily this series for six years and they don't gives one chance to "My...

Re: Afraid to watch the last episode!

Thank you for the first two! very interesting, i start to look. We talked few months ago about Friday Night Lights, already saw and loved. By Jason Katims i saw last month "Roswell"....but despite the MSCL influence is very mediocre and commercial, i'm at the end of the first season and for now is a...

I know that feeling..
It will be dramatic next week, i must look others family-drama '90 show to heal just a little. I just order on amazon "Wonder Years" -
But I'm a fool to think this will be enough.

I didn't know this show, thank you for the tip.
Even 5℅ of MSCL influence is good for me.

Re: Discussion for episode 18: Weekend

A nice little gem just near the end. A so-called bottle episode to start to say goodbye to this amazing show and amazing characters. It feels like the writers knows of the imminent cancellation so they decided to let the characters to have fun. i always appreciated the character of Danielle, at the ...

Re: Afraid to watch the last episode!

Guys sadly now it's my turn, i recently watched "Weekend" and i'm terrified by the idea of ending the show.
I'm not ready to go back to a life without "My So Called Life"

Re: Discussion for Episode 17: Betrayal

Another amazing top episode. The title "Betrayal" last week suggest me a possible infedelity issue between Graham and Hallie, that problem and that eventuality is still there but i never expected that Ryanne and Jordan would steal the scene and the episode. A very dramatic turning point for the poor...

Re: Discussion for Episode 16: Resolutions

Very good and very well made episode! I really appreciated that after "So Called Angels" the writers insisted to make an episode focus again on the Rickie's character! A new and different spin for the show and more adult approach! Good dynamic yet again with his character and mr.katimsky and..... Wi...

Re: Discussion for Episode 15: So-Called Angels

Perfection....almost. Winnie Holzman and Jason Katims together in the writers room and Scott Winat return almost a year later behind the camera! The result is pure gold of course. Incredibile episode and a very different Christmas departure from what we usually see in this kind of episode on tv! The...

Re: Discussion for Episode 14: On the Wagon

Maybe the most relaxed episodes so far, not in terms of subjects(that they are very heavy) but in terms of pace! Very slow episode but strangely very good and a very strong one. In a way i consider this episode a sequel of "Other's People Mothers", a centric Rayanne hour that i liked more than 1.10!...

Re: Discussion for Episode 13: Pressure

Splendid, just splendid. Probably the best episode of the show since the pilot. Everything in this episode seems just fit together perfectly and every characters shine more than ever. Mark Pzinarsky is definitely the most talented director of the show and for the show, maybe even better than Scott W...

Re: Discussion for Episode 12: Self Esteem

The relationship between Angela and Jordan has never follow a logical and conventional evolution and maybe that is reason for most of his charme but this time around the writers(in this case Winne Holzman) doesn't show so much respect for the audience!! After all the problems and all the issues yet ...

Re: Discussion for Episode 11: Life of Brian

God what an episode....what an emotional roller coaster! Jason Katims knows how to play with the fellings of the characters and the audience as well. The character of Brian is so well written and so well portrayed and in some occassion is more powerful than Angela her self! For me the writers soon r...
