Brian(cont.): I just have to tell my parents I'm here.(mumbles to himself) not that they'd notice anyway.

Angela: sure, see ya soon.

Brian does a small wave and leaves. He stands under the streetlight for a while.

Bri.VO: it's weird. when you like, have dreamt about something, say Angela Chase inviting you to ... anything, that when it actually happens... it's surreal.

Chase house:
Danielle is watching t.v. from the couch. Angela loiters about for a while, then stands behind the couch.

Angela: uh, Danielle?... Brian's staying for dinner.

Danielle: Brian?... dinner?... at our house?

Angela: uh, yeah, is that so unusual?

Danielle: tonight?

Angela: yes, tonight. so... just to ask... is it, I don't know... does it seem weird that I have Brian over?

Danielle: so he'll be here soon... right?...

Angela: I guess so, he just has to ask...

Danielle: ...I have to go.

Danielle races up the stairs. you can hear the sounds of clothes being pulled out. Angela does her 'what just happened here' look.

Chase bathroom:
Danielle is taking a shower.

Dani.VO: I couldn't believe it. *Brian Krakow* was going to be at our house at any moment. like, officially.
