Futurama

MSCL may be gone from the tv screen, but there are lots of good (and bad) new productions airing each week. Talk with other MSCL fans about your favorite shows or the shows you hate. Of course you can also discuss TV show DVD releases here.

IIRC it is also playing on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network now.

Season 3 comes out on DVD in the UK in a few days. Can't wait till mine arrives.

Hmm...I can't remember if my Season 2 R2 DVDs had commentaries on the episodes or not. I will have to check that... damnit...don't want to have to double dip  .

Season 3 will be in my hands on the 16th of June :D

UPDATE 11/28:
Apparently I've caused some confusion with my wording above. I said "Chock-full of episodes from the 3rd and 4th Seasons of the show", and some of you have taken this to mean that ALL of the episodes from those airdate seasons would be included in the set. This is not the case. As Futurama fans know, these episodes were aired by the Fox Network wildly out-of-order from their production schedule, and airdates were often delayed due to football games running long.

The 22 episodes included on this set are all the ones that were produced during the "third season production run", but this is a prime example where the "production seasons" and the "airdate seasons" don't quite match up (which is why Fox Home Ent. refers to this as "Futurama - Volume 3" instead of "Season 3"). Episodes "produced for Season 3" ended up getting aired during Seasons 3 and 4...one was aired during Season 5!

To clear things up, here are the episode that will be found on the Futurama - Volume 3 set:

Prod # Aired In Airdate Episode Title
3ACV01 Season 3 02/04/01 Amazon Women in the Mood
3ACV02 Season 3 01/21/01 Parasites Lost
