Chapter 8: The Kiss

Angelea leans forward slowly they share a tender soft kiss-until Brian pulls away.
Brian: What was that?
Angela: I...don't know.I mean... You looed like you wanted it, or something.
Brian: But what about Jordan?
Angela: Oh God! I get so sick of hearing about Jordan! What does Jordan have to do with you me? (She stops, looks confused as she think about what she just said. She looks down at her hands. Brian reaches out turns her head toward his. He starts to lean his head toward her to kiss her. Before their lips meet, Angela jumps up.
Angela: I...have a big Geometry test tomorrow. So I better go study, or something. Brian: Do you still need help with congruent triangles? Because maybe I can like explain them to you.
Angela:(quickly)NO!..(pauses for a second, then speaks more softly) No...I mean, I think I finally have caught on to...you know...the whole idea, or whatever. But if I get stuck...I'll ask you to help me, or something. (Turns to leave) Tell Danielle I'm upstairs, okay?
