(ANGELA stares at JORDAN's necklace.)

ANGELA (VO): Sometimes, people just surprise you, in this way you never thought possible. 'Cause, a few months ago, when I noticed Jordan Catalano in school, I never even dared dream, that this would happen. (Beat.) But here we are. (Beat.) But then, I never dreamed that a lot of things with would happen with Jordan Catalano. Or Rayanne Graff. Somewhere, inside, I know, it's not a question of love. It's something more than that. It's trust, that's difficult.

(ANGELA looks up at JORDAN.)

ANGELA: (through tears.) Jordan, I-I don't know what to say. I mean, you say you love me, but- and I love you too, but how can I trust you? I mean, I mean, you told me once, that, you know, whatever happens, happens, and, you know, you don't like obligation. But.. I need, I don't know, some kind of commitment from you.

JORDAN: Well, what can I say?

ANGELA: I don't need words, Jordan, I need, like, to see proof, in the way you behave.

JORDAN: You will. But, I mean, Angela, I can't, you know, I can't show you that now.

ANGELA: That's true. You can't. Listen...
