(Angela, while crying, bumps into Sharon, who is also sniffling. They both look up and laugh through their tears.)
Angela: (trying to hide her tears, but failing miserably) So... what's up? Heading to lunch?
Sharon: No. The nur... cafeteria. Yeah. I'm heading to lunch.
Angela: (glances suspiciously) So am I. Want to sit with me? We could review for the geometry test at the end of this week or something.
Sharon: (stammering) Uhh. No. I've got a ... student council meeting, so I'm just going to grab a quick bite and head straight there. Maybe after school?
Angela: (nodding) So... what are you going to the nurse for?
Sharon: (laughs nervously) Caught that, did ya?
(Angela silently nods.)
Sharon: Okay.. but only if you promise not to tell!
Angela: Promise.
Sharon: I'm...
Angela: Yes?
Sharon: (mumbles something under breath)
Angela: What?
Sharon: (leans and whispers into Angela's ear) I'm pregnant.
Angela: *gasps in shock* With Kyle? Are you sure? It's Kyle's right?
Sharon: Shhh! Yes. It's his. I was late. You know? By like... a week or so? So I took the test this morning and... it was positive.
Angela: So why are you going to the nurse?
Sharon: Because (breaks into sobs) I have no clue what to do!!
(Angela pulls Sharon into a tight hug.)
