Songs that remind you of MSCL?

At this point I just have to mention "Wait" by K's Choice. Always reminds me of Brian's affection for Angela.

I don't know most of these songs and artists, but I definitely see "1979" or the Violent Femmes working well with the show. I've just always had the problem of hearing the songs from the show and not bein able to ever disassociate them form the show.

Cami, if you're looking for new video songs, I think that "I'm a Punk Rocker" by Iggy Pop and the Teddybears would be a great song for Jordan being too cool and apathetic towards Angela -- a lot of leaning, eye rolling, and walking away. The White Stripes' "Cold Cold Night" might make a great song to tell the story of Angela spending time with Jordan, somewhat on the sly (what happened between Self-Esteem and Pressure, what more would have happened had they not broken up in Pressure...).

By the Way by the chili peppers reminds me of Jordan's attitude in life. "Today" by the Pumpkins reminds me of Angela since she loves the pumpkins and it seems like a song she'd listen to, after an incrdible day of having a "great"conversation with Jordan.

Perfect song for Rickie, guys! "Lost Children" by Michael Jackson. I LOVE Michael Jackson. I love his attitude towards the life and the world too. This song is so cute! It reminded me of Rickie instantly. I think it's fairly obvious how.

There are two songs that Pandora played for me recently that remind me of MSCL in different ways.

At first I thought "Ok, so this song is about Angela and Brian." But then I realized it's not exactly like that cause Brian doesn't really say the right things at the right time (nor does anyone in this show, I guess ) And realistically speaking, IMHO Brian isn't what Angela wants, however deep inside her we may look.

2) The Verve Pipe - The Freshmen

I have no idea why it reminds me of MSCL! It's not related to MSCL in terms of plot or theme, but it seems like MSCL could deal with an issue like that. The song is about this guy's girlfriend who had an abortion and then killed herself. I'm not sure MSCL would deal with suicide, but the abortion part I can see being explored.

I guess the "I can't be held responsible" part vaguely reminds me of Jordan's attitude too, in general (not sure about the specific hypothetical context where he gets his girlfriend pregnant).
