Did anyone catch this spot?

I happened upon it by accident the other day. Not only do we get the benefit of Extra referring to Jared's former MSCL days and being named one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People twice, but we got to see Jared's corn rows from Panic Room as well as the punkish/blonde hairdo that he is sporting these days.

It was a pretty decent sized interview, but Extra did manage to include in the trivia section on Jared that he is in Thirty Seconds to Mars with his brother. And they did show the Jordan clip from the intro to MSCL. While Jared has been busy with so many movies since then, as Extra noted, it's obvious that he will likely always be known first for his role on MSCL, whether he likes it or not.

I saw that yesterday. It showed Jared with his girlfriend, Cameron Diaz.

Well, the hair was combed over to the side and blondish in part, so it wasn't a mullet per say but it was still quite different than the Jordan Catalano days. Truthfully, I prefer the MSCL hair or even the corn rows from Panic Room to his current hairdo, but I suppose whatever Jared feels comfortable in is best.

Why would he not like it?

Although I can't remember the source, I do remember reading long ago in a number of places that Jared was tired of being known as the pretty boy from MSCL and also that he didn't like people thinking that the character he played on MSCL was like how he was in RL.

Jared has also said many times that he didn't like his performance on MSCL at all. I thought he was good.

He has admitted in several interviews that he did not like his acting in MSCL. This interview is from a few years ago (right before Prefontaine was released), but there he answers some questions about being on MSCL: http://www.eonline.com/Celebs/Star/Leto/
