Reminds me of the scene in 10 Things I Hate About You when they find black underwear in Kat's drawer.

Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer.
You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"?

Well, I was thinking Grace Brothers Department Store, as in "Are You Being Served?", but yeah!

I was just thinking about those color-personality tests. The colors are Red, Blue, Yellow, and White.

Being Red means wanting to be in control, organized, and the perfect type to run yout own business. So i was thinking since those things apply to patty that it is fitting for her to wear red.

Also, Blue, is a loyal friend, a peacemaker, a good person, dominated by emotions. Fitting that Rickie is wearing blue, because he is the definition of blue.

Just a few thoughts.

Found another example, from "The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards. (A great text for the novice artist, BTW)
Surrealist artists were fascinated by psychological meanings of colors. Oddly, each hue has both a positive and negative connotation in most cultures. For example, consider the following:
  • White: innocence and ghostliness
  • Black: restful strength and depression
  • Yellow: nobility and treason
  • Red: ardent love and sin
  • Blue: truth and despondency
  • Purple: dignity and grief
  • Green: growth and jealousy

Yellow Goldenrod is the most likely color to grap someones attention from a marketing standpoint.

Which I have to agree with cause a Yellow Spring Dress always catches my attention! 8)

Funny you should mention that Mike - I just saw Contact (the musical, not the Jody Foster movie) yesterday and the Girl in the Yellow Dress definitely attracted a lot of attention with her, uhhh, yellow dress
