Thanks for the help fnordboy - I am off to hack my DVD player!

Well I am guessing that it worked this time since there was no fnordboy-lied-and-made-me-waste-70-dollars rant :)

It worked just like you said it would! I am now exploring the world of easter eggs - my old dvd player sucked. I should amend that to say that the remote and the sensor sucked - I had to stand in front of the player and hold the remote two centimeters from the it and keep pressing buttons until it did what I wanted it to, which made for all those easter egg tricks being pretty useless. Now that I can sit on the couch AND I know that when I hit "next" the sensor picks it up, I am loving the easter eggs!

:D

Thanks for the great recommendation - now I can finally watch Breakin & Breakin 2 on the big tv instead of the laptop!

Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer.
You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"?
