I can't believe I've been here for almost exactly 3 years! I stuck through those excruciatingly slow, pre-DVD years which seem just a distant memory. Still, I'm only ranked number 8 which is a sad posts per day average. Ah well, here's to another Christmas spent at MSCL.com

I think I've seen some other posting boards where the highest posting members get to enter their own personalized ranks. Once they reach the highest basic rank, set by site administration, they can either keep that rank or type in their own, (through their user profile?) within limits. Restrictions are pretty simple:
  • Predetermined number of characters.
Don't use the rank to impersonate the moderators.
(For polite sites like this one) No profanity.
Depending on the volume of posts, the highest rank might be anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand.

Hey all,

Did anybody come to a decision about new posting ranks?

Not yet. It looks like it's pretty difficult to find new posting ranks beyond "Winnie Wannabe" :-) (Who or what can top Winnie? I have no ideas either)

Nostradamus' suggestion with freely editable ranks doesn't work on this software (yet?).

How about "Liberty High Graduate"? Naturally, it would rank below "Winnie Wannabe". :)

Other (somewhat lousy) ideas are:

"Substitute Teacher"
"Rad Party DJ"
"Girl's Room Gossip Monger" (yeah... that's stretch)
"Assistant Principal"
and something with the word "fantasy to tie in with the "Halloween" episode.

Sorry. I tried. :(

Gary

p.s. lance? Have you checked the post rankings lately?

(hehe)

 . . . Don't count on it.

I've been drafting behind Kenny, but I think I can pass him on the next curve . . .

*Ahem*

Back on topic, what about something like "Kid Sister"? You know, if you stand on your head long enough, you're bound to get noticed eventually.

And there's always "Red". That color is practically the tenth cast member!
