Since I have no life and never have, , you may try something I did one new-years. Get to bed early on new-year's-eve and wake up bright and early on the 1st. Then go to 7-11 or some quick-stop that's open and laugh at all the miserable/hung-over folks who stumble in to buy aspirin and Alka-seltzer and assorted hang-over meds. and revel in the fact that you're not one of them. :D :D

Hmm... festive holiday, minimal funds, friends have opted for lovey-dovey...

You could have a MSCL "best of" marathon. Pick five or six or your favorite episodes and watch them over salsa and chips.

Are you going to be going solo on this New Year's?

My husband and I are doing fondue, movies, and games. My brother and his fiancee bailed on us at the last minute, so we are just going ahead with what we had planned. A cheese fondue with bread and raw vegetables; a broth fondue for chicken, steak, and shrimp; and a chocolate fondue for strawberries, bananas, and marshmallows. Yum! :D

A TV or movie marathon is a great idea. One year I did a Season 2 Buffy marathon with lots of hor d'oeurves. It was alot of fun, and the next year some friends wanted me to go out with them, and I really just wanted to stay in and do it again.

Hope you have a happy new year whatever you decide to do!

New Years

Post by lance » Dec 31st 2002, 5:10 pm

Ideas, ideas...

Well the wife and I are just going to take it easy. Maybe watch some videos or DVDs, play on the computer (Hmmm, and I just got Farscape and Warlords Battle Cry II for the PC).

We might catch a movie tomorrow. I have heard good things about the new Star Trek Movie.

Best,
