Jason told them that when he viewed the check discs and apparently they didn't feel it was important enough to correct the mistake.

Yeah from my understanding, since he only had 24hrs to view the discs unless there was a MAJOR issue they wouldnt do crap about it.

But then of course how long after that did we have to wait for the discs.... things could have been fixed.

I'm savoring the DVDs and, thus, have only today played Disc 3.
I, too, noticed the misspelling of "Other People's Mothers", but what distressed me far more than this sloppy proofreading was the fact that the episode's audio track is totally out of synch with the action onscreen.

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Color me extremely sad, cos OPM is one of my most fave episodes.

Anyone else notice this on their disc?

Fortunately, I hear that is only on the sloppy 5.1 track. The 5.1 is a gimmick anyways, especially since it was only produced in stereo. Turn off the 5.1 crap, and the audio should sync up fine. (From what I've heard).

People have complained about this problem here

There were some speculations as to why this occurred:
Some thoughts about the DVD sound
Audio sync/echo?
audio out of synch with video

I am so far ahead at this point that you KNOW I'm not padding my post count!

I do research for a living

I like to say that AU couldn't afford the extra "'s".

You mean to tell me that other people have more than one mother?

Fascinating...

You learn something new every day. I just assumed they all had the same one, I mean they all called her mom, right?

I don't know how people will react to this bit of news, but the axe just fell at BMG again --including many of the people involved with the MSCL disc.

Also, the rights expire this month.

So the timing was right. I just wish that AnotherUniverse.com could have made an honest buck instead of trying to wring every penny from customers.
