Just testing here, move along, these are not the droids you're looking for...

Can someone tell me how to change/remove the 'frozen embryos' tag that appears between my author name and avatar pic? I've checked the FAQ, it's either not there or I'm especially dense today...thanks...

There is no way to remove the rank names :) It basically shows how many postings you've made.

See http://www.mscl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=732 for more informations.

Thanks, I _just_ went back to the FAQ and discovered 'rank'. Oh, well...

Another test ... a fan here of winged things (including Juliana Hatfield {grin}), if you take a look what I have listed as a homepage.

(I wonder how some people *cough*Alfredini*cough* got an avatar wider than 150 pixels!)

I don't know how this site fell into the Twilight Zone of my browser, since I registered a year ago for the forums. (Maybe doing so one day before That Day was the reason, as it tended to monopolize one's attention, to say the least.)

"MSCL" is bound to have new interest with the DVDs, though, so I wanted to come back for it.

Mine used to be wider than it is. I went in to change something else in my profile and the avatar no longer worked. I had to cut it down to size and reupload.

If you upload your avatar to another server (like geocities), you can use the "Link to off-site Avatar" feature in your profile. We can't limit the size of off-site avatars yet.

But please don't make it too big, otherwise it might confuse our layout and it takes longer to load for other forum users.
