Once again, the producers, directors, and writers of MSCL have pushed the envelope and set a standard for others to follow. Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? Instead of letting your show languish at the finicky hands of network execs, film seasons of your show exclusively for straight-to-DVD release! Brilliant!

smackey,

with the right kind of marketing I bet that would work. patrons of the show could continue to watch it on DVD.

straight-to-DVD

That would be great. I think it must not be cost effective though to do so. Or someone would be doing it.

As for the MSCL Season 2 DVD, I'm a little worried about some of the cast changes from season 1. I mean, I really doubt the Olsen twins (splitting time to fit the shooting schedule into their busy calendars) will bring the same depth to the Angela role as Claire Danes did. :?

Me too. If most cast change, the feel would be totally different, no longer the original MSCL.

Actually, I got a confirmation that at least 2 of the cast members are returning !!!

Indeed, Tino and the chase cat are confirmed to be played by the same actors as in the original serie !

Gee, I'm really glad Tino will be back in the second season...

He was probably my most favorite character from season one. Though the Chase cat IS a close second.

I dunno. Maybe they shouldn't overshadow all the other characters this season and show a little less of Tino.

Nice post smackey. The first thing I thought when I saw this thread was "I don't think the Olsens really fit the cast..." before your post. :D
