What TV shows on DVD do you already own?

MSCL may be gone from the tv screen, but there are lots of good (and bad) new productions airing each week. Talk with other MSCL fans about your favorite shows or the shows you hate. Of course you can also discuss TV show DVD releases here.

What TV shows on DVD do you already own?

Post by fnordboy » Oct 24th 2002, 11:18 am

To go along with the thread on what shows to bring out on DVD, i wanted to know what shows people already own.

My collection thus far:
  • Twin Peaks season 1
    Larry Sanders show season 1
    24 season 1
    Sopranos seasons 1,2,3
Real World season 1 (not a good release :( )
    Powerpuff Girls (the 4 dvds)
Mr. Show with Bob and David (season 1 and 2)
The Young Ones Every Stoopid Episode
    Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Kingdom (Region 2) yes it was a miniseries...but it was on TV (UK)
Absolutely Fabulous first set (need to pick up the second one still)
    Futurama Season 1 (region2)
Futurama Season 2 (region 2, pre ordered)
The Simpsons seasons 1 and 2
and if we were counting anime whihc is technically tv series then this listed would be about 150 titles longer ;)

I have a Power Puff Girls DVD, but not the whole set.

And the only tv show that I have an entire season of at this point is Buffy (yes season 1 AND 2!).

We only got our DVD player recently so we're building up our collection. So far we have 30 - only one shelf on our wall o' shelves. Slowly but surely - like every time we got to Price Club!

:D

How is the Black Adder release? I've been wanting to pick it up but just havent yet. Is the transfer good?

Get a Life ive been holding out on hoping they will release a real set of the show. It truly needs one.

What is Jeeves and Wooster? Sounds very P.G. Wodehouse-ian, i could get into that if that is the case.

My So-Called Life will be my first TV series on DVD. We pre-ordered Band Of Brothers, and that should be arriving shortly. I can't wait. What a amazing mini-series.
