RSS feed?

Ok, this is totally geeky, and I doubt there's a way to do this, but:

Is it possible to get an rss feed to see if there are any new posts on the board? I didn't know if there was a way to link the New Posts Since Last Visit with an rss feed.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'd assume its not possible, since it would need to know the login information. Hmm, but maybe if it just lists posts in the feed, that would be enough. Basically I have no idea if it could work, so I'm asking here. ;)

Yes, I'm a dork and want an RSS feed to tell me if there's new posts on the MSCL board. :P

I can't offer you an RSS feed for your particular request ("since last visit" - like you already wrote: login with XML is quite tricky), but an RSS feed for the last 10 or 20 postings would be possible. (But not at the moment - I'm way too busy to work on the forum).

But maybe this will help you:

Sorry that it took me *so* long to do this, but we finally have RSS feeds on all (sub)forums. You can subscribe to the entire forum by using the URL http://www.mscl.com/forum/rss.php (or just enter http://www.mscl.com/forum into your RSS feed aggregator for autodiscovery)

You can also subscribe to single subforums by using URLs like http://www.mscl.com/forum/rss.php?f=8 (where "8" stands here for the forum with the ID 8)
