Error message

I can't access the forum index - I keep getting an error that says "Couldn't retrieve guest user today data." I can access individual forums by using the drop down menu though.

Mike? Sascha? HELP!

:D

This is really weird. I've never seen this error before and it seems to be gone now. I guess that a forum modification went crazy because only registered members had logged on so far - but no guest users. Seems a little bit strange though. Anyway, I will do some tests on my local test environment and try to find the reason for this.

I just got it too. It said "general error" at the top. I was doing OK for the first few minutes of my session, then it came up while clicking to the index from another area.

I hope I found the error now: Our server had to reboot last night and one of the database tables got damaged in the process - so we had a tiny inconsistency in our data. I repaired the table and the error message should no longer appear.

But if you notice any strange behaviour, just report it here. Thanks!

Sascha.

Ya, power outage last night... Its great when you're standing in your bathroom that has no windows and the lights go out! :bathroom:

Haha, one of the fluorescent light bulbs in the bathroom at work was on the fritz - it seemed fine until someone got into a stall to do their business and then it would start blinking like crazy. It was like trying to pee in a disco strobe light! We thought that was bad until it actually went out completely. Nothing like groping around in a public restroom to find the door!

At least Victoria's Secret has those nice velvet couches, but in public restrooms all you can really say is, "What do you wanna do? Just drop down on the tile and go for it?"

The floor of a public restroom is not on my list of fantasies. I think there are only two options:
#1. The sink
#2. "Honey could you bend over and get a closer look at what is written on the wall?"

Such romance...

Of course if you are a couple of 16 yr olds who work at McDonalds, the bathroom probably looks pretty good. Then a year later they can go on Springer and tell the word how they became one being, in the cold porcelain urinal of love.

(WOW!, how OT am I? )

Well according to the book of Maverick, the proper answer to the above question is " No, actually I had this counter in mind."

This has got to be THE best example of a topic going wildly off-course.

Point A = Server glitch

Point B = Sex in a dark restroom

The space in between Point A and Point B = Priceless.
