I used to smoke in high school and college. I was a social smoker, though, only about a pack or two a week. I met my husband in college, and he said that he could never see himself married to a smoker, so I quit right then and there. I have had a few here and there (without my husband knowing :? ), but I pretty much left it behind me. Now I am glad that he gave me some incentive to quit. The last time I had a cigarette a few years ago, it made me really sick, so I haven't had one since then.

Good luck to everyone who is trying to quit. I know how hard it is and I hope you all beat it.

Woohoo! I finally got my posting frequency back up to 1.00 per day, which means I have been a member here for about 770 days.

Yes, I suppose we must support each other in the group. The admission is the hardest part.

The great thing about being surrounded by fellow addicts with OCD is that they are always willing to enable you - keep posting!

I'm pretty sure you are going to pass me, don't hold back. Maybe I'll race passed you later on when you are busy marking and I'm slacking off in my studies. besides if we keep posting at this rate we'll both leave "catalano" behind in no time.

800 posts in the #8 slot in the eighth month. I must don robes of finest octarine and meditate on the Octavo while kneeling in an octagonal perimeter with eight candles on the corners...

Anyone know where GaryEA is? He hasn't posted in over a month. After TomSpeed's recent close call I'm almost afraid to ask...

I guess you posted this in Posting ranks because you are about to pass him in # of posts. He's definitely not here as often as he once was. Last time someone asked about him CG suggested they PM or email him. There are a few of the top 20 posters, like GaryEA and Andrewgd who don't come around much anymore. I heard a rumor that it's because they are jealous of my insight. :-P I hope all is well with each of the posters who are missed around here.

Gary is doing fine, I know he has been busy with RL crap (nothing bad though). I actually just had lunch with him the other day. He does come around, but he hasn't been posting much.

I know, I know the heat is definately on. At this rate, Megs and TomSpeed should leave me in the dust by say, oh next Thursday.

Ahh, but I always have GaryEA to count on to make my posting look good by comparison. Hee, hee :D

Darn regulary employment and volunteering! Oh sure, I get out now and again, but look at the price I am paying.

Must post more, most post more, there's no place like home...
