My DVD's are defective; Anyone else?

I bought my DVD's at Best Buy for $67.99. I brought them home and went to watch the Halloween episode. Lo and behold, it wouldn't play. So I decided to check the other discs. All except for one had a defect. At least one episode per disc (excluding the one) wouldn't play. It just froze and then stopped playing altogether, shutting itself off.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or did I just happen to choose the one box set which was a defective out of the fifty they had there?

Hm, that sounds really weird. I guess the chances that 4 out of 5 discs could be defective in your set are very low. Did you try the DVDs with another DVD player? How old is your DVD player? Do you have problems with other DVDs?

If the discs fail on a different player too, then return the set to Best Buy and get a new one. So far I haven't heard of any defective MSCL sets.

the men are always right.
