Okay, which song on the track list is the song that starts out "Release Me" at the World Happiness Dance? It's when Angela sees Jordan...I remember that song on the radio, but what is the official title and who sings it?

Release Me

Post by glitter_punk » Nov 22nd 2002, 11:40 pm

I was just thinking that same question today!! I was like,"who does that release me song" and i typed "release me" on limewire, and a bunch of pornography came up... I love the internet! Bah! So if Anyone knows... that'd be a big help!
This life has been a test. If it had been an actual life, you would  have received actual instructions on where to go and what to do.

I believe that would be "Pressure" by Sunscreem.

The entire track listing is available here: http://www.mscl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=545

I should add that track 12 on disc 2 is listed as "Make It Home" by Juliana Hatfield, but it is actually a medley of all the songs from So-Called Angels.

As I said earlier, anyone who is interested should read http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/ for instructions regarding B&P and then PM me here or email me at mscl_cds@hotmail.com

PLEASE read the instructions at the B&P website before emailing me or PMing me!

candygirl wrote:I already posted this reply in another thread regarding the soundtrack, but FYI:

I will admit that it took longer than I anticipated to send out the last batch of soundtracks, mostly due to the fact that I did not have time to get to the post office (today I spent an entire hour at the post office and never got to the front of the line). For that reason (and due to the fact that I am not independently wealthy), I am now switching to B&P. For those of you who are unfamiliar with B&P, you can read all about it at http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/

I have already said this in other threads regarding the soundtrack, but let me reiterate: If you are interested in receiving the unofficial soundtrack, DO NOT post a reply in this thread asking me to email you. Instead, PM me for details or email me at mscl_cds@hotmail.com

unofficial soundtrack in 2005

Post by westernrobyn » May 6th 2005, 4:26 pm

Is the unofficial soundtrack still being distrubuted? I have read various threads about the topic, but the last few were from 2004.
I would love to get a copy of it, but am not sure who will make it available. I have read the B&P instructions and am willing to do that, if anyone is interested in helping me out!
Thanks a bunch!

hey, i never heard about any unofficial soundtracks or anything but if you ever manage to put an end on it, let me know! On the other hand, as i'm doubtful we'll ever see a trace of such material, i can help you making on eof your own, since i noticed a couple of stuff in the series that don't figure on the original soundtrack.

Way back when (like in the late 90's) some of the original Lifer's started a thread about producing a CD w/ not only music from the series, but also clips of dialogue from the show. Somehow/someway this got done. It was circulated amongst the small contingent of forum-posters at the time. Somewhere along the line the CD was rejuvenated and one of the original producers named 'Old-Guy' agreed to burn some more of the CD's and distribute them. (I was fortune enough to receive one....(thanks Patrick!) ). I believe this all took place in 2002. It was a really cool creation. I don't have a CD burner or any way to put it on the site though. SORRY!
