An Oral History of My So-Called Life

Elle magazine recently posted The Agony and the Angst: An Oral History of My So-Called Life.

It contains recent comments from many cast and crew members.
Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight.
Got to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight.

This is wonderful - thanks for posting! I loved hearing how powerful this show was for the actors and for Winnie. In particular, it was enlightening to hear Wilson Cruz' thoughts about the final episode, in which Ricky becomes the first character on network television to come out as gay. Cruz states, "I felt like if I didn't step up, I would regret it." That scene was shot 10 or 15 times!

Thank you for posting this article. Hanging out with Tom Irwin and the other members of the cast watching Apocalypse Now on laser disc sounds like a good time.

Patty: If Rayanne's not seeing you, and we're not seeing you, who is seeing you?
Graham: And how much of you?
Angela: Dad!
Graham: Oh, I'm sorry! I asked a question about your life, didn't I? Woah, what came over me?
