Has anyone seen this 1996 movie where MSCL's Patty plays a mother who tries to help her daughter, played my Tracey Gold? It sounds like a fairly big role for Bess, so I'm wondering if it's worth checking out.

The movie is slated to air Sunday, 2/10, on Court TV from 5 to 7 p.m. Eastern time and again early on Monday, 2/11, on the same channel from 2 to 4 a.m. Eastern time.

I was especially interested in checking out MSCL's Patty in this movie since she also plays a mom, and this one came out a year before the frenzy over our show. Bess Armstrong plays a much more sympathetic mother to the daughter in this movie, but I suppose it was good prep for playing Angela's mom later on.

It was a bit weird seeing Tracey Gold in The Perfect Daughter since she is so much thinner than she was on Growing Pains. In any case, the movie as a whole is only good if you have nothing else you're planning to watch and you're looking for a way to pass the time.
