I've never seen this 2000 movie (which also features James Spader, Angela Bassett and Lou Diamond Phillips) so I have no idea how big WC's role as Benj Sotomejor really is. Still, I loved him in MSCL so I'm curious to see him in another role, one that involves the realms of outer space.

The movie is slated to air Wednesday, 1/16, on The Movie Channel from 11 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. Eastern time, and I believe the movie will repeat the same day from 9 to 10:35 p.m. Eastern time on the same channel.

Well, I finally got around to watching this movie which I taped last week, and it wasn't bad for a Sunday afternoon when I was doing nothing else. I actually liked the special effects in it and MSCL's Rickie had a fairly big part in it. It was a bit strange to see him looking buff as opposed to being quite stylish. In any case, it was fun to see him in another role and one with some big names such as Angela Bassett and James Spader.
