Jared Leto in Lord of War

Jared Leto is slated to appear in Lord of War with Ethan Hawke, Nicholas Cage, Monica Belluci, Bridget Moynahan, and Donald Sutherland. The movie is written by and directed by Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, Truman Show, Simone, The Terminal).

Shooting begins in New York, Germany, Romania, and South Africa in June.

According to imdb.com, Nicolas Cage stars as an arms dealer being chased by an Interpol agent. The tagline is "First rule of gunrunning: never get shot with your own merchandise."

He`s been busy lately. I always enjoy his movies. I look forward to this one.

Eamonn Walker (Kareem Said on Oz) has been added to the cast. The scheduled release date is September 2005.

nice to see Jared in another big film. not to mention that I love Nicolas Cage. it's not really my type of film, but I'll probably go see it for them.

yeah, I don't think I've ever not liked a Nicolas Cage movie. he's just so darn likeable in any character he takes on.

I watched Lord of War. Overall, I thought it was good, but a little moralistic (guns are bad). I thought Jared Leto did some good acting, except his departure did not have much support from the story. All of a sudden, he became upset by what the guns they were selling would do?
