I had a math test. I studied really hard for it because I didn't do so well on our last one. I hope I did well, but there was this one twelve point question that I figured out but my answer didn't correlate with the questions asked about it. So I tried to figure out what I did wrong but the answer never came to me. And I didn't have time to do the extra credit. I am so bad at math. At least I have the day off tomorrow

I quit math in high school as soon as I found out I wouldn't have to take any of it in college, and I had more than enough credits in math to be accepted to UMKC. I had really tough courses in HS too - Advanced Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, Statistics. Yikes!

At least you are done with that test Amika. Doesn't it feel good?
That's how I'll feel on Monday at 11am after my second test in horrible horrible music history. Thank god this is my last semester of music history.

That's great you only have a month to go until your class is over:) I've had to do things like take biology for two semesters, but it was a sigh of relief when it was over. Yes, I'm glad my math test is over, but i don't think I'll really be relieved until the class it over (and I am counting down the days)

Oh, yes, I know. In my major they taught us that clinical psychologists and researchers use it all the time. Are you in research psychology? I think I read a post where you said you majored in psychology in college.

I work in a neuroscience/psychology research lab which specializes in olfaction. Psych was my first major but I switched a few more times before graduating. Sometimes I'm fickle like that.

I only remembered because psychology is my major too.

You know, when I was in LA last weekend my friend and I went to the Hustler store and we saw a brochure for something called a "Real Doll" that costs $6000. Or are you talking about a Buffybot type candyclone?

Dude! A friend sent me a link to a sex toys website as a joke, some of that simulated body parts stuff was really traumatizing. PS, did you make it to Forty Deuce?

I did and it was awesome! Talk about perfect timing - we got there about five minutes before the show started. Those girls have the best job ever!

Some of the, ahem, packages have a little nub of the simulated skin so you can feel how realistic it is. I found myself thinking how amazing it is that we have this kind of technology and that is what it's used for.



Interestingly, the Hustler store also has a little cafe like Borders/Barnes & Noble where they serve coffee, desserts, etc. Now I'm not a squeamish person (dare I quote George Michael now? I know I was mocked the last time I quoted a song here!) - you know, "sex is natural, sex is fun," but I also don't want to sit down and have a muffin right next to the fetish magazines after looking through all of their costumes and toys.
